Sonia’s (they/she) intention is to center you, your values, and your goals as you collaborate and navigate life’s uncertainties. Sonia believes that our mental health and well-being is a subjective experience where you know yourself and your experiences best, and that through the therapeutic process, you can collaboratively deepen your understanding of yourself, identify what is most meaningful to you, and use that to guide your healing process and meet your goals in a way that feels authentic to you, as well as settle into the many unknowns within and around us.

Sonia draws from Attachment, Narrative, and Systems perspectives, and uses elements of Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy in their practice. They are trained in Brainspotting and enjoy incorporating somatic mindfulness into their approach to processing trauma and in getting connected to the full spectrum of your inner experiences. They hope to cultivate a space where you feel free to express yourself, honor the strengths that have brought you this far, cultivate the skills that you are wanting to develop further, turn focus inward, and sit in the complexities of life together. They enjoy supporting adults and adolescents 15+ of all body sizes, and folks embodying LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse identities.
