Leanne Frazier
Leanne believes that therapy is a place for healing and continued growth. She uses an empathetic, person-centered approach in her work, with a goal of creating a space that feels safe to explore vulnerable subjects. She understands that it is an honor to be trusted with this vulnerability and strives to offer a compassionate, curious and creative approach to her work.
Leanne has worked on crisis hotlines and in day shelters, allowing her to gain experience working with individuals who’ve experienced depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual trauma, faith transitions and more. She uses a holistic lens with therapy, acknowledging that trauma can affect our mind, body and spirit. Leanne uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems and Somatic Mindfulness Therapies and is dedicated to continued learning around best practices.
Leanne practices strengths-based, trauma-informed care through an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens, offering care to adolescents and adults. She encourages thoughtful challenging of cultural assumptions and continued growth as a community.
