We are hiring for full-time positions only and are seeking individuals with prior experience working with individuals, children, youth, families, couples, or groups.

Open positions include:

  • Licensed Mental Health Therapist

  • Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Our positions offer a hybrid model, combining in-person and telehealth services. Our offices are located in the Flanders Professional Building at 2250 NW Flanders Street, Suites 201 and 304, Portland, 97210, Oregon.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed or registered to practice in Oregon.

  • Proficient in evidence-based treatments for shame, mood, anxiety, fear, developmental, and complex trauma-related disorders.

  • Skilled in clinical documentation.

  • Comfortable with software platforms such as Simple Practice and G-Suite.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional therapeutic relationships.

  • Effective collaboration in a culturally sensitive and diverse team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in addressing cultural diversity through training and practice.

  • Advanced training in working with Neurodivergence.

  • Advanced training in complex trauma treatment.

  • Familiarity with mindfulness-based psychotherapies.

  • Openness to training in EMDR, Brainspotting, or other body-centered modalities.

  • Desire to grow as an attuned and relational therapist, with access to in-house training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services aligned with the mission and values of Connections First.

  • Implement focused therapy approaches, utilizing outcome measures and treatment planning supported by in-house training.

  • Maintain a clinical caseload and complete documentation within required timeframes.

  • Meet weekly therapy session requirements.

  • Participate in supervision, clinical case consultations, and training sessions.

  • Engage in ongoing evidence-based specialty training, both in-house and within the community.

  • Provide and receive constructive feedback professionally.

  • Adhere to state licensure and documentation requirements.
